Cookies And Storage
This page covers what our website, formta.com, saves in your browser. We don't use tracking cookies, and there are only two things on the list. What the Formta app saves is in section 9 of our privacy policy.
What We Save In Your Browser
- Your choice in the cookie banner, so we don't ask you again each time you visit. It's saved whatever you select, and it stays until you clear your browser's data for formta.com.
- A random number for your visit, so we can tell which pages were read in the same visit. It's only saved if you select Accept all, and it's removed when you close the tab. It doesn't say who you are.
What Each Choice Means
- Reject: we don't count your visit. Only your choice is saved.
- Essential only: the same as Reject, because the website doesn't save anything else that it needs to work.
- Accept all: we count which pages you read, without your IP address, name or email, so we can see which pages are read most.
Keeping The Website Safe
To stop bots and attacks on the website, each page you open is logged with a code made from your IP address (never the address itself), your browser and device type, and the page. These records are kept for 12 months. This is needed to run the website safely, so it doesn't depend on your choice in the banner.
Changing Your Choice
Clear your browser's data for formta.com, and the banner shows again the next time you visit. In most browsers, that's under Settings, then Privacy, then Site data.
