After spending 8+ years as a freelance project manager / producer within events and performing arts, I set out to create a project management software for creative professionals, that would have made my job easier and more enjoyable.

To make that happen, I first started working with events in the tech startup community. Then in 2023 I was a participant in Tech Nordic Advocates 'Women in Tech' International Mentoring Programme. Now, I’m building the software and preparing to launch my company, Formta, while still working as a freelancer.

What sets us apart is our dedication to improve the work environment in creative collaborations. We understand the importance of seamless client interactions, which is why our platform offers features like client presentations, client amends, video recording for comments, and inventory management. This fosters efficient communication and enables creatives to stay on track, while saving time and resources on project management.

Our platform caters to a broader range of creative professionals, providing an effortless and engaging approach that suits any specialization. This is crucial as it enables effective collaboration with partners and freelance hires. Creative projects are often complex, e.g. an interior design studio could be working together with: an architect, a light designer, a mural artist, a graphic designer, a photographer and an event manager on the same project, who could all be using different platforms for communicating and file sharing. Having one platform connecting everything, makes the project more manageable and creates a better work environment. That's why Formta exists.
