Do you use my projects for AI/ML training?

That's up to you to decide. Your creative work will ALWAYS be yours! We think that's important. What we do use your work for - if you give us permission - is to improve our software. Our focus is building AI/ML models that can help guide you to make better project management decisions while you're working on a project. We'll never use your creative work. We'll only use anonymized data related to project management - and not for creative work.

Can I share my work with clients?

Yes, our client revisions system makes it easy to share a project page with your clients to review. For data security they do need to create a profile to view, comment and send revisions to you. It's easy to set up and they won't be charged for it or receive a bunch of spam.

Is Formta GDPR and CCPA complaint?

Yes. We think it's important that you stay in control of your own data, so our software is GDPR and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) compliant.

What if I loose internet access, can I still work on my project?

Yes! We know how important it is to be able to continue working, even if your internet access is spotty. All you need is to log in online at least once a month to sync your work. Keep in mind, we can't do a real time check of your available storage space, when you're working offline. So if you've added too many files, you won't be able to sync your offline work with your team before deleting some files, upgrading your plan or buying additional storage space. Your team also won't have access to your offline work, before it's synced online. Your work will be saved on your computer, until you get back online.

My team is working with a freelancer, can I pay for their subscription during the project period?

Yes! We offer the option for teams to pay for their freelancers STUDIO or PRO subscription. You decide which plan to pay for, and if you choose a STUDIO plan, but they want to keep their PRO plan they'll be offered to pay the difference to not be downgraded. Their normal subscription will be paused during the project period, and unpaused once your team stops paying for them. It's a nice gesture that can make a big difference for freelancers.

Why is it so expensive?

Consider Formta an addition to help your project team save time and money. Or as an alternative to hiring a professional project manager if you’re an individual creative professional or a small team and money’s tight. The average project manager in Europe costs approx. €5000 – €9500 per month depending on country. Formta’s prices starts at €30 per month. Our software can’t do everything that a great project manager can do, but what it can do is help you save time (and money) and makes it easier to manage your projects better.

What if I'm a freelancer who only need a project management software occasionally?

You can pause/unpause your subscription any time you need to. When you pause it, your subscription will run until the end of the current month, during which time you'll still have access to Formta, before the pause starts. If you have more than 1 month left until your subscription renews, the remaining time will not be used, before you unpause.
